Pore-Scale Investigation of Low-Salinity Nanofluids on Wetting Properties of Oil Carbonate Reservoir Rocks Studied by X-ray Micro-Tomography

Low-salinity surfactant nanofluids have recently shown promising results in the wettability alteration of reservoir rocks from oil-wet state towards more water-wet state. However, investigation pore-level interactions injection real oil carbonate at conditions, which determines overall fluid dynamics, is lacking. Therefore, this work, we studied effect nanoparticles augmented low-salinity flooding on hydrophobic with harsh conditions via X-ray micro-tomography.
